Dropped Stained Glass

So here it is.....the Stained Glass Re-do...... Now I just call it.......

"Dropped Glass"
I took these pics tonight inside with a flash instead of outside in natural light....sometimes the colors just pick up better with the flash...
OK...what do you think??

Stained Glass

I had this idea in my mind for the longest. Making a piece to look like stained glass. It did not work out, did not look like I picture in my mind.
Too many colors and not symmetrical enough for me. So.....I'm stacking it using the drop method.

I literally cover the area I want changed with glue. As you can tell...it was a big area.
Then I drop the buttons on it......anywhere from 6 inches up to completely standing. I only use the smaller buttons with this method because they will stick better at different angles...
The new piece has dried and I'll get a picture of it tomorrow when the sun comes up!

Evolution

This....
And this....

Turned into this which...
Brought about this...

Multi-Level

This is a leftover ornament wood piece that I stacked black and white buttons on and finished it off with snowflakes. It was for a game my Sheteam from Etsy hosted. It takes a lot of time to do the different layers, this one has 3, but the finished pice looks really good. I like this medium!
